Thank you to all the volunteers, donors and bidders who made this year's auction a huge success. The Rotary Clubs of London West, London South and London North realized a combined total of over $45,000 - funds that are much needed to help maintain and support many worthwhile local projects.
It's coming! The 23rd Annual Rotary TV & Internet Auction will be held on November 25th and 26th, 2011.
This auction brings together the Rotary Clubs of London West, London South and London North for our largest fundraising event of the year. Last year, over 400 London area businesses joined the fun and excitement of our auction and helped us raise a combined total of over $35,000. In this way, they made it possible for our Rotary Clubs to continue our support of many worthwhile local projects.
We need your help. Your donation of auctionable goods or services will enable us to continue our significant donations to these worthy causes. As a donor, you will receive publicity well worth the value of the item or service you donate. Your company name and donation will be included in a flier that is distributed through the London Free Press to over 40,000 households and through our auction website www.rotaryauction.org. Your business may also be highlighted on Rogers Cable 13 on the second night of the auction depending on availability and the value of your donation.
You can also help by participating as a bidder on hundreds of amazing items. We'll have travel vouchers including a round trip for 2 on VIA Rail between London and Montreal, dozens of household items, professional services and more - we even have an official Reebok NHL Maple Leafs jersey signed by Tyler Bozak! As a bidder you have the opportunity to purchase an item at a fraction of the retail value with no added tax and the charities we support are helped with these much needed funds. HELP PRESERVE LONDON’S NATURAL AREAS (ESAs)
DONATE A PLANK
The Rotary Club of London West and Nature London are again working in partnership with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) and the City of London to help protect London’s natural areas.
Donors will be given the opportunity to have planks engraved with their chosen names for installation by the UTRCA in one or more of London’s Environmentally Significant Areas (ESAs) in the spring of 2012. Your participation in this project makes these boardwalks available for visitors; helping to protect the plants and animals and ensuring these special places will be here for future generations to enjoy.
Complete and print your Donate a Plank form form and mail it along with your cheque for $25 to the address contained within the form.
